Alexis notion she led a generally dysfunctional highschool life. Dysfunctional like her parents' marriage; her doll-crazy twelve-year-old sister, Kasey; or even her personal anti-social, anti-cheerleader perspective. whilst a relatives struggle leads to a few tearful sisterly bonding, Alexis realizes that her existence is creeping from disorder into risk. Kasey is appearing stranger than ever: her blue eyes cross eco-friendly occasionally; she makes use of out of date language; and she or he even loses tune of chunks of time, claiming to grasp not anything approximately her unusual habit. Their outdated home is altering, too. doorways open and shut through themselves; water boils at the unlit range; and an unplugged air conditioner turns the home chilly sufficient to determine their breath in.
